I decided to upload another song. Check it out. If it doesn't depress you at least a little, you're not listening carefully enough. That, or you've never been left. Bully for you.

I know, I know. I've been blabbing about this album for a while now, and no one has heard anything except a few final mixes. Well, nothing has really changed at this point - I'm still looking for a mastering studio that meets my needs.

The first place I worked with was fine; it was just that I didn't like the outcome. It wasn't their fault - I had made some last-minute changes in my mixes that didn't end up working well in the end. Plus, my drum sounds simply weren't good enough in my ears. So, I went back into the studio and tracked all of the songs again with a much improved drum sound.

At this point, I'm just waiting for some test masters to come back. If they sound good to me, we might be in business. If not, it's back to the drawing board again. In the meantime, maybe I'll post another song or two so people can hear a little more of the record...

OK, so I was a little overzealous with my last (now deleted) entry. So what else is new? I just really, really, really wanted to be finished right now, but, even more importantly, I want to put out the best product possible.

So, I'll be revisiting the masters and probably tweaking a thing or two. Keep an eye on the site for the release date - it's still not far off!
